For Milan Design Week 2022, lauded designer and long-time collaboration Sabine Marcelis presented a new piece crafted from natural stone, commissioned by SolidNature. Made from striking Pale Pink Hue onyx, Marcelis’ free-standing bathroom makes an impression at 2.4m high. Composed of various intersecting volumes, the piece incorporates a bath, shower, basin, storage, mirror and necessary fixtures. Viewed from a full 360 degrees, the functional object elevates the everyday to sublime.
