These limited edition stone pieces were originally part of the Il Sonno supermarket installation, created with AMO/OMA for Milan Design Week. Now, in order to extend their story and in response to the interest they generated, a selection of original pieces, alongside a limited number of newly produced editions, is being made available.

Availability is limited. The pre-order period closes on June 21. Delivery is expected by the end of August.

The UK retailer Marks & Spencer is credited with inventing the pre-packaged sandwich in 1980. Today, 4 billion such sandwiches are sold every year in the UK alone.

SolidNature’s SANDWICH reimagines this now classic grab-and-go lunch item in the form of a triangular sculpture that is humorous yet thought-provoking.

This layered composition combines Obelisco Travertine with green onyx and red marble accents, creating a playful sculptural form.

Each piece is handcrafted from natural stone and therefore unique; slight variations in color, texture, and dimensions may occur and are part of its character.
