Jeweller Ward Strootman loves to combine the raw beauty of minerals with the artistry of jewellery-making. He contributed a one-of-a-kind object to SolidNature’s exhibition at Milan Design Week 2023: a plate of quartz crystals, set within a sculpted travertine base. Ward Strootman is a third-generation jeweler who has followed in the footsteps of his family's rich heritage in the diamond and gemstone trade. Ward developed an interest in gemology and pursued his passion by studying at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). He creates unique designs that celebrate the raw beauty of minerals and the artistry of jewelry-making.
