Surplus Sculpture Continuum

A series of signature sculptures that are characteristic of Birgitte Due Madsen´s work is also made of off-cuts from SolidNature’s surplus production of onyx and marble.

The group of sculptures called Surplus Continuum demonstrates that there is an intuitive movement for any coherent structure. Any given unit can be infinitely divided through a mathematical methodology. Directly translated by the title, the sculptures provide a gradual transition from one movement to another.
